Volvo Trucks will open orders in September on a 100 Year Edition for its FH and FH16 models, a cab and exterior package that arrives ahead of Volvo Group’s anniversary in 2027.
The edition, available on the FH Aero, FH, FH16 Aero, and FH16, include interior and exterior upgrades like two-tone seats with premium leather bases and an embroidered anniversary motif on grey textile upper sections, tan leather accents and dividers matched to the exterior striping, illuminated doorsteps, LED console strips with red or white ambient lighting, and a welcome light that projects the anniversary motif when the doors open. The 3D-printed speaker grilles and the cab curtains display Volvo truck models from the past century.
The edition can be ordered in most drivelines and chassis configurations currently available, which include diesel, gas, and battery-electric drivetrains. Volvo launched the FH Aero Electric in 2025 with a stated range of approximately 370 miles. The FH and FH16, both European heavy-duty models, are not part of the Volvo Trucks North America lineup.
Jan Hjelmgren, head of product management at Volvo Trucks, described the edition as “the peak of Volvo’s truck design and manufacture over the past century: the result of 100 years’ worth of continual improvement in safety, quality, driver comfort, productivity, fuel efficiency and emissions saving.”
The 100 Year Edition follows the FH 25 Year Special Edition, the FH Aero Euro NCAP Special Edition, and the Volvo Ocean Race Limited Edition.
