Kodiak AI announced a strategic agreement with Bosch to scale a production-grade autonomous trucking hardware and sensor solution, a move the company says is aimed at supporting commercial deployment of its autonomous driving system.
Under the agreement, Bosch will help develop and supply automotive-grade sensors and vehicle actuation hardware for Kodiak’s autonomous platform. The solution is designed as a safety-redundant system that integrates hardware, firmware, and software interfaces to support Kodiak’s autonomous driving technology, known as the Kodiak Driver.
Kodiak said the platform is intended to be integrated either directly on vehicle production lines or through third-party upfit installations, allowing flexibility in how autonomous systems are deployed across commercial trucks.
According to the company, the collaboration is focused on scaling manufacturing and building a reliable supply chain for autonomous trucking hardware, addressing a key challenge in moving autonomous technology from pilot programs into broader commercial use.
Kodiak CEO Don Burnette said the agreement combines Kodiak’s autonomous driving software with Bosch’s experience in automotive manufacturing and systems engineering to help accelerate deployment of production-ready autonomous trucks.
Kodiak also announced that a truck equipped with its autonomous system will be displayed at Bosch’s booth during CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
