Voltera recently announced an expansion of its EV charging network with new facilities across four major states.

The new sites add 294 charging stalls and more than 28 megawatts of capacity to Voltera’s national portfolio. Operational facilities are already online in Santa Monica and San Francisco, as well as Dallas and Austin, Texas, with additional sites coming soon to Houston, Phoenix, and Miami.

Each location is strategically chosen and designed to support light-duty fleets with high uptime and operational demands. In California, Voltera’s San Francisco site — a repurposed three-story parking structure — demonstrates its ability to adapt urban infrastructure quickly for EV readiness. Meanwhile, two newly launched facilities in Santa Monica are helping meet the high demand for fleet charging.

Voltera’s new Texas locations include an Austin site with a full-service fleet hub featuring maintenance bays, office space, and employee amenities. The Miami facility, opening soon, will become one of the company’s largest, with 79 DC fast charging stalls. Similar expansions are in progress for Houston and Phoenix.

“Voltera is dedicated to simplifying the transition to zero-emission transportation,” said Brett Hauser, CEO of Voltera. “With the launch of these light-duty facilities, we’re meeting the growing demand for reliable, fleet-specific charging solutions and helping fleets focus on what they do best—delivering goods and services.”

These latest light-duty expansions build on Voltera’s earlier success with heavy-duty infrastructure, including its flagship electric truck charging facility in Lynwood, California, located along the vital 710-freight corridor near the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
