For the first time, the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo and the National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) have teamed up to create a can’t-miss week of fleet-focused education, technology showcase, and networking opportunities.
This year, ACT Expo 2025 (April 28-May 1) and the NAFA 2025 Institute & Expo (April 28-30) will both be held in Southern California. The events, held at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Long Beach Convention Center, will offer fleet operators a chance to gain access to both conferences at no extra cost. The collaboration between two of the largest fleet shows in the country ensures that fleets have a seamless experience, gaining access to the best of both worlds without missing a beat.
This partnership is particularly valuable for government fleet managers, especially in California, where the Advanced Clean Fleet (ACF) rule is still in effect. As government fleets face the complex challenge of complying with zero-emission vehicle mandates, the combined educational offerings of ACT Expo and NAFA will provide the necessary resources to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape. Fleet managers can now take advantage of two top-tier events to access the latest tools, technologies, and peer insights, all in one week.
“Municipal fleets, in particular, will benefit from the alignment of ACT Expo and NAFA, as they work to comply with California’s ACF requirements while also managing fleet performance, safety, and maintenance,” said Erik Neandross, President of Clean Transportation Solutions at TRC, the producers of ACT Expo. “NAFA’s emphasis on maintenance and safety complements ACT Expo’s deep focus on advanced technologies and sustainable solutions. Together, these events will give fleets a comprehensive suite of resources to optimize operations and costs while meeting both short-term and long-term goals.”
NAFA’s Institute & Expo (I&E), taking place April 28-30, 2025, at the Long Beach Convention Center, provides essential content for fleet management professionals, with a particular focus on maintenance, safety, and best practices. This critical content is further strengthened by the technology-focused agenda at ACT Expo 2025, taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center from April 28 to May 1, which includes the latest developments in clean vehicles, componentry, artificial intelligence, autonomous solutions, and connected fleet technologies. By attending both shows, fleet operators can leverage this complementary content to boost operational efficiency, reduce costs, and stay ahead in a rapidly changing market.
“By partnering with ACT Expo, NAFA is providing fleet professionals with a holistic view of what it takes to succeed in today’s complex landscape. This collaboration allows fleets to gain a deeper understanding of the technology, funding and regulatory shifts impacting the market today, while still maintaining a focus on the day-to-day aspects of fleet management, like maintenance and safety. Together, we’re helping fleets stay competitive, compliant, and ready for the future,” said Bill Schankel, CEO, NAFA.
Reciprocal Passes for Fleet Professionals
For fleet managers planning to attend both events, the collaboration offers a seamless experience. ACT Expo fleet attendees can show their ACT Expo badge to NAFA’s registration team on Tuesday, April 29, or Wednesday, April 30, and receive a complimentary Expo Hall Pass for the NAFA Institute & Expo. In turn, registered NAFA 2025 I&E fleet attendees interested in attending ACT Expo 2025 will be provided with a registration code for a complimentary Expo Hall pass (NAFA is encouraging its members to visit ACT Expo during its Grand Opening on the evening of Monday, April 28 while its exhibit hall is still being built). The code, which will be provided to fleets by NAFA after registering for the I&E event, will enable fleets to register for ACT Expo online before attending.
“This partnership ensures that fleet professionals can access comprehensive, cutting-edge educational content and network with industry leaders, all while maximizing their time in Southern California,” said Neandross. “By combining the strengths of both shows, fleet operators can stay on top of the latest technology advancements, gain valuable maintenance and safety insights, and drive sustainability in their operations.”
