Orange EV recently announced that its fleet of electric terminal trucks has officially surpassed 10 million hours of zero-emission operation, marking a major milestone for one of the earliest and most widely deployed battery-electric truck manufacturers in the U.S.

According to the company, more than 1,600 Orange EV yard trucks are now operating across 40 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces, collectively logging nearly 27 million miles while displacing millions of gallons of diesel fuel. The milestone represents an estimated $100 million in fuel and maintenance savings compared to equivalent diesel units.

Orange EV says its fleet maintains an average 97% uptime, with several units exceeding 30,000 hours of active service while still running on their original lithium-iron-phosphate battery packs. The company notes that none of its trucks have experienced a thermal event during the 10 million hours logged to date.

The manufacturer attributes the results to the durability of its e-TRIEVER platform, backed by a 7.5-year warranty covering the battery system, traction motor, and other key components. Orange EV describes the milestone as proof of long-term reliability and cost competitiveness for electric yard trucks in demanding fleet operations.
