Gatik has raised $200 million in Series D financing to expand its commercial autonomous freight operations and driverless truck fleet, with a near-term target of operating more than 100 trucks by the end of 2026.
The new capital will support the expansion of Gatik’s commercial operations and fleet, along with continued investment in its autonomous vehicle technology, infrastructure and workforce. Gatik currently operates dozens of driverless trucks across North America and plans to expand the fleet into the thousands over the coming years.
Gatik reports more than $600 million in contracted revenue, 85,000 fully driverless orders completed and a 99% on-time delivery rate across its operations. Its trucks move goods across high-frequency regional networks connecting distribution centers and stores.
Gatik currently operates commercial freight routes in Texas, Arizona, Arkansas and Canada for retail, grocery and consumer packaged goods customers.
“This round gives us the capital to scale with speed and discipline,” said Gautam Narang, Gatik CEO and co-founder.
The financing follows an expansion of Gatik’s work with several large shippers and retailers.
In June, PepsiCo and Gatik announced a multiyear agreement to deploy autonomous freight operations within PepsiCo’s North American food and beverage supply chain. Gatik is already operating driverless trucks for PepsiCo across Texas, Arizona and Arkansas, focusing on regional networks where products move between facilities on high-frequency, time-sensitive routes.
Gatik also has a five-year agreement with Loblaw Companies Limited covering the deployment of 50 autonomous trucks within the retailer’s Greater Toronto Area distribution network. The rollout was scheduled to include 20 trucks by the end of 2025 and another 30 by the end of 2026, with vehicles transitioning from operations with safety drivers to fully driverless service.
The $200 million round provides Gatik with additional capital to move from its current deployment of dozens of trucks toward a triple-digit fleet. The target of more than 100 driverless trucks by the end of 2026 provides a measurable near-term benchmark as Gatik expands its regional autonomous freight model.
