Aurora and McLeod Software have announced the launch of the industry’s first transportation management system (TMS) designed specifically for self-driving trucks. The partnership will allow shippers, carriers, and fleet operators to manage autonomous freight with the same ease as traditional trucking operations.
Through a direct API integration, Aurora’s autonomous trucking technology connects with McLeod’s TMS platform. This integration enables carriers to tender, dispatch, and monitor autonomous shipments within their existing workflows.
“By meeting customers where they are within their existing TMS, we’re making it easy for them to tap into the safety and efficiency benefits of autonomous trucks,” said Ossa Fisher, president of Aurora.
The companies confirmed the new TMS functionality is in beta testing with select carriers and shippers. A formal rollout to McLeod’s customer base is planned for 2026, with additional details to be shared at the McLeod User Conference scheduled for September 21–23, 2025.
