Claire McConnell is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships for Proterra Powered. Claire joined Proterra in 2017 to help build the Proterra Powered business. In her current role, she is responsible for developing OEM partnerships to utilize Proterra’s core energy storage technology in other commercial vehicles. To date, Claire and her team have helped world-class OEMs like Thomas Built Buses, Komatsu, Van Hool, FCCC, Bustech, and Optimal-EV introduce 100% battery-electric vehicles that are powered by Proterra electric vehicle technology.
Prior to Proterra, Claire spent 4.5 years at Tesla. She was most recently a Manager of Business Development for Tesla Energy, and before that held roles in Finance and Business Operations at Tesla. Claire began her career at McKinsey & Company, the management consulting firm. Claire holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS from Duke University.
